- We went to see the Illini play Michigan State this morning. Pretty much the worst beating I’ve ever seen live, I think (61-14). We were gone at halftime.
- Saw the fourth quarter of the Ohio State-Iowa game on TV. Pretty much the first time I remember seeing a Tressel-led Buckeyes team beat a ranked opponent without the game coming down to the fourth quarter (31-6). Ted Ginn? Three catches for 32 yards. What the heck?! Just toss him a screen and throw a few blocks if nothing else. Tressel should start making the offensive coordinator run extra laps the next week in practice every time that Ginn has less than ten offensive touches per game.
- I discovered last week that I could listen to the Clemson football games over the Internet for free (probability of ABC ever televising a Clemson game in my region = 0.0000000041%). Unfortunately, I have also learned that anytime I listen to the Tigers on the radio, the game tends to result in them losing in overtime.
