Yea, guess it is looking pretty good for the Longhorns to go to the championship...I wouldn't give up all hope as long as Mack Brown is coach, though.

Tech I'd agree with, if it weren't in Austin. They dominated Tech at their own house last year. That offense is killed by speed, and t.u. has it in spades on D. Thats the way Oklahoma has dominated Tech in the past and thats exactly what t.u. should be able to do to them this year.

Oklahoma however just looks too far gone to me. I mean TCU, who beat them, went on to lose to SMU this weekend! SMU!!! The horns smell blood and are dying to end this losing streak with them. If OU loses their game against UCLA this weekend (very possible) I think that team will be defeated and it will be hard to build their confidence for any other opponents this season. If they win at UCLA, and find a janitor who can throw better than their current QB they could turn it around and become a decent team. They've got one of the best tailbacks to ever play at the college level, so I guess I can't completely rule them out.

I don't think you can automatically chalk up a Longhorns win over the Sooners no matter how bad Oklahoma looks. Mack Brown seems to have an uncanny ability to consistently get his players to have their worst game of the season in the Red River Shootout.

Also, there's always the possibility that Texas Tech's offense will just light it up against any given opponent and eke out a win in an 80-plus point game.

Dear Lord. Living in Austin as an Aggie from Ohio is going to be insufferable this week. How many times did t.u. give that game to the Buckeyes only for Tressel to screw it up with poor play calling?

I was impressed with t.u.'s play though. They're a better team than I thought. Only one team on their schedule has a chance to keep them out of the MNC, and I don't think the Ags D is up to it.
