So, after a couple months of using the rather boring and unoriginal “mattandleighann.com” for the title of our blog and “Still waiting for a catchy tagline” as our tagline, we were finally inspired to change the name of our blog to something a little more original. We now present “The World Needs More Ninjas” with the tagline “A Few More Pirates Wouldn’t Hurt Either”. Note that this does not necessarily imply that anyone who blogs on this site is either a ninja or a pirate, but merely reflects the sentiments that the world needs more of them.
The origins of this name are as follows. While watching Batman Begins:
Leigh Ann: I want to be a ninja.
Matt: I think that the world needs more ninjas.
Which is actually a fairly good representation of a typical conversation that you’d expect to hear in the Miller household on any given evening.

But Ninjas and Pirates hate each other. If there were more Ninjas and Pirates it would be mass hysteria!!!
That said, I’d like to go into pirate training…lots of sandy beaches, rum, and wenches…what could be better? YARRRRRRR!
We need some opposition or else ninjas would take over the world completely unless pirates are there to stop them.
Is that like in Pittsburgh Pirates? And, do you mean people ninjas or Turtle ninjas? Just thought I would ask.
