Blago’s Bubble

Evidently Illinois’ governor, Rod Blagojevich, doesn’t get out much:

Blagojevich says he didn’t realize “The Daily Show” was a comedy spoof of the news when he sat down for an interview that ended up poking fun at the sometimes-puzzled governor.

At the very least, isn’t this what politicians have aides for? Here’s the clip from the show:

    Apparently he’s not that good at putting himself in the shoes of his constituents…

    That was awesome! I especially loved how the reporter was able to keep a straight face through all of it so the governor really had no clue if he was screwing with him or not.

    The disturbing thing is that most Dems I know truly consider the Daily Show to be their source for reliable news…so maybe Gov. “Smith” does know his constituents better than we think!
