If you can explain any of these to me, please leave a comment.

Watching Regular Season Baseball: Really, what’s the point? 162 games per team…are you kidding me? Other than a few games in September, the MLB regular season’s only function is to generate stats for Fantasy Baseball players and bean counters who [...]

Oy Vey! Maurice Clarett is a Schmuck

Posted on 18 August 2006
( Matt's Posts and Ohio State and Sports )

For the next season of The Surreal Life, they should just have one guest…Maurice Clarett. After his little chase from police with his vodka, guns, and lint roller, now details emerge that Clarett was involved with the Israeli mafia! Some chutzpah. Honestly, I didn’t even know such a mafia existed. Hollywood [...]

Jack Bauer Facts

( Entertainment and Humor and Matt's Posts )

To follow-up the Bruce Schneier Facts, someone pointed me to Jack Bauer Facts (Wikipedia Entry for Jack Bauer). Some of my favorites:

When a convicted terrorist was sentenced to face Jack Bauer, he appealed to have the sentence reduced to death.
The city of Los Angeles once named a street after Jack Bauer in gratitude for [...]

Just watch the clip to see what it is:

The most anticipated movie of the year (literally) starts this Friday. I don’t think you’ll find another 2006 movie with as long of a Wikipedia entry.

This is just uber-geeky. In the spirit of Churck Norris facts, the author has given us facts about computer security guru Bruce Schneier. I find it hilarious. Some of my favorites:

Bruce Schneier was only allowed to view the Kryptos sculpture at Langley for 1 second, in order not to spoil the fun [...]

Just three weeks away from my favorite sports season of the year. To help prepare for it, I found this highlight clip of Ohio State receiver Ted Ginn (he’s really fast):

And, Ohio State QB, Troy Smith:

Inspired by the latest in the Maurice Clarett saga and an ESPN list, I decided to put together this list. Feel free to leave comments with any I may have missed.

The Virtues of Openess

Posted on 8 August 2006
( Business and Matt's Posts and Science and Technology )

They’re not secret anyway. People talk, you know.
It perpetuates unfair salaries which is bad for people and for the organization

Making salaries public (inside the [...]
