I got like 3 emails about the AlwaysIllinois thing and I still think it’s kind of a dumb idea. Am I wrong?
Is social networking in general a good idea? I’ll bet the ratio for most social networking sites of users wasting time to users doing something with the site that fundamentally enhances their life is pretty high. I mainly signed up for the remote possibility of a job lead. One kind of cool feature that I hadn’t seen before is that you can add your external blog’s feed to your profile. Of course, this is kind of useless to me since I don’t really want random people on their reading my blog.
I’m pretty sure facebook does that…
