Seems this has been an exciting week for Kaelyn (and us). Here’s a list of new things she’s started doing recently…
- SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT!!! – I didn’t want to get my hopes up right away, but after the most difficult week of my life of CIO (crying it out, for all the non-parents out there) Kaelyn is finally sleeping through the night. For the past five nights she has slept from 7:30 – 6:30. I’ve had my first full nights of sleep in over a year!! (Over a year because the last few months of pregnancy I was up every two hours going to the bathroom.) REJOICE!
- Claps her hands – so cute when she gets excited.
- Gives high-fives – she thinks this is particularly funny.
- Clicks her tongue.
- Pulling up on things more and more – which lead us to install our top-of-the-stairs baby gate and put baby-proofing stuff on our kitchen cabinets.

Just for the record, I’m a parent and I thought CIO mean “Chief Information Officer”.
I was wondering if the full nights of sleep had continued…I’m so glad they have! Yay!! Sounds like you’ve had a fun week!
